[And my theme for here shall be the song that is playing on my itunes at this time ouo]
Maria lounged on the side of the pool, the sun shining through the clear glass of the expansive walls stretching above her. Her toes skimmed the water as her crimson eyes flicked around the room, searching for something of interest. There were barely any people there; none that she recognized or didn’t care to remember.
She yawned, slowly extending one leg in front of her and flexing her toes. Her painted nails caught the light and she watched them for a moment before sighing. The Prussian was bored, and if anyone knew her well…that was a bad sign. Because she would find something to blow up or set on fire before the day was over if there was nothing to distract her.
The junior pouted and tossed her head, her long silver hair spilling over bare shoulders. Threading her fingers through the strands, Maria started to braid her hair expertly as she hummed quietly. This was the one thing she wouldn’t allow anyone else to do. Absolutely no one touched her hair without permission. Not even her servants.
As she braided her hair into an almost messy French braid, the Prussian arched her back slightly. Her black swimsuit was cut to perfectly accent her curvaceous figure, revealing a great expanse of her snowy white skin. The low neckline gave a teasing glimpse of her chest, and she pretended not to notice that some male students were staring conspicuously.
She was still bored, and those idiots didn’t interest her. Wasn’t this stupid school supposed to give entertainment?

--- He'd only come by in passing, heading from the locker rooms to the main part of the gymnasium and beyond the large sky view windows he always adored. Antonio had gone out into the fields in order to play soccer earlier, but as the noon sun came around he had called it a day and hiked back to change and cool down into casual wear, classes now done for the day. To compensate for how badly he had been previously sweltering, he'd changed into a polo from his father and the shortest he could manage shorts to fend away the heat. Crossing the room, he caught sight of Maria moving on the deck from behind as she braided her hair, somehow looking completely innocent for what he knew her to be. Recognizing his dorm mate instantly, he wandered over lazily, bag on shoulder and hands in pockets.
"Ah, I don't think it's considered a pool party until there is more than just you," Antonio teased as he approached, light hearted as he waved with one hand. He stopped at the side of her chair, leaning against it lightly as he took in the clean chlorine smells. "Good day though for swimming."
The Carriedo heir scoffed the toe of his shoe against the gritted pool concrete, just watching the waves coming from the filters as the water circulated. "Is that all you really intended to do?" he asked her childishly, somehow not convinced that she only wanted to go swimming on her own. Granted, he wouldn't try to stop her and in most cases he actually joined in, but Antonio at least liked to be informed of happens lest be surprised when it happened.

Maria looked up, seeing the waving hand out of the corner of her eye, and grinned as she saw her roommate. "Antonio~!" she called out happily, glad to see a familiar face. She stared up at him, her grin widening as he stopped beside her chair. "Wanna join?"
Wriggling her body slightly in the chair, Maria yawned and extended a leg again to dip into the cool water, her skin warm with the sun beating down on them. "Hell no," she snorted, rolling her eyes. "It's too boring to be considered awesome enough for my presence." Never mind that she had lounged by the side of the pool for what seemed to be hours.
The Prussian tugged at Antonio's sleeve almost childishly, pouting. "Don't tell me you're going to play soccer again," she said, a bit disdainfully. She never really understood why he liked sports so much, especially as a royal -- but he was also a teenage boy. Who knew? She wasn't an expert.
Maria tossed her braid over her shoulder and tilted her head, exposing the snowy expanse of her neck. "I want something sweet," she declared, perching on the edge of her chair and folding her legs together. "Got any chocolate on ya~?"
Because if anyone knew her well, she hoarded her chocolate.

--- Setting his bag next to her chair, he shook his head. "I would have to run back for my suit, lo siento." Watching her with content emerald eyes, he only chuckled at her comment. Only she could think a pool party would be boring. He'd moved back to stare at the rippling water when Maria got a hold on his arm.
"No, I just came back from that. It's too hot out for a decent game right now," the Senior informed her, sighing loudly as she badgered him. He enjoyed soccer and it helped to keep him calm, regardless of her tastes he did rather enjoy it. Antonio took a sweeping glance at his bag, easing himself down to sit Indian style on the white concrete. "Ah no too, but I do have a sandwich," he admitted, judging his sack lunch. Why he needed one on campus was beyond him other than Belle had offered to make it when he said he was going out to play soccer - practical if he actually had stayed out there longer but moot now.
"You have cleaned me dry of any sweets anyways, Maria." He pulled his knees up to his chest, resting his chin on legs for a moment as he craned his neck to glance up at his roommate. "Haven't had a chance to get anymore since last time."

Maria pouted at his words and slumped down in her chair, still keeping a hold on his sleeve. “I don’t know anyone here,” she whined slightly, “except those kids.” She pointed with a manicured nail towards a small group of underclassman; as if she would associate with them in the first place. They’d have to be cute and adorable by her standards to even consider. And her standards were high. High enough that really only Royals could interact with her without getting burned.
Except, of course, an adorable little Canadian. And that feisty Italian who had caught her eye. He was just so much fun to mess with~
“Later then,” she said, looking up at him with earnest crimson eyes. She was stubborn enough to find a way to convince him to join her. As much as she liked showing her body off, Maria preferred to be with a group of Royals and underclassmen who could admire her. The Prussian made vain look pale in comparison.
Maria pushed out her tongue, licking her lips as she listened to him. Her eyes flicked down his body – in a non-sexual way; she was not interested in her best friend like that – and noticed that his skin was rather flushed. “Ja, ja, I noticed. That’s why I’m not outside right now.” She made a face and rolled her eyes. “Heat kills my hair. Which is not awesome at all.” Undoing her braid, the Prussian threaded her fingers through the long, now curly silver strands.
She smirked slightly at Antonio, eying the sandwich. “Aw, did the little Belgian servant girl make that for you~?” she teased him, cackling. “How cute, kesesese~” Leaning over the side of her chair slightly to get a better look, Maria tilted her head curiously. Really, she wondered how people could only stand to eat sandwiches during lunch. Why not delve into salads or chicken or pasta or something? “Kind of a boring lunch though, don’t you think?” she asked, a bit flabbergasted despite herself.
The Prussian sighed heavily and sat back in her hair, pulling her hair up behind her head as she tilted her head back. Her entire body was warm from the sun’s heat through the glass ceiling, but gott did she want to swim. “Still no sweets?” Maria pouted again, not looking back at Antonio and fixing her gaze on a sort of cute boy across the pool from her. She couldn’t tell what class he was in though.
“We ought to go out into the town, you know? Stir up some mischief.” Maria grinned, ideas already filling her head and making her giggle. “The Duo shenanigans, kesesese~” The Junior might be a year younger than Antonio, but she knew how to be a commanding presence.

--- It amazed him sometimes how 'classy' Maria was compared to the other people he hung out with - the others looked perfectly fine to him, he never had any issues associating across the social classes as long as they were good people. How this left the silver haired girl as his friend was beyond him, but she was always good company if not apart of a thought that maybe one day his disposition would rub off some on her.
"Later," Antonio promised, knowing quite well once said it would happen. He would admit the pool room was nice and cool, just the right temperature from the sky lights to actually be comfortable for swimming. The Carriedo heir reached behind the lounge chair and grabbed one of the fluffy school issues towels that were discarded there, tossing it out before him and onto the deck of the pool. He scooted himself forward, uncurling his legs so he could dip them into the water and sit on the towel without soaking through his recently changed pants. It felt cool on his aching shins and he sighed in relief. "Wouldn't avoiding heat include actually being in the pool?"
He tilted his chin to observe her with his emerald eyes, shaking his head the slightest as she fussed around with her hair. He swore he just saw her put it up, but females always seemed to allude him so what did he know. Switching over to stare at his lunch bag opened beside his school satchel, the Spanish boy shrugged his shoulders. "Cute, si, how was I to say no? She is used to packing for her family, not catering to the likes of you, it is fine," he joked, continuing the little movement of his head. "And no, no sweets. My pockets are empty, at least in the presence of you."
Feeling something crafty, he only peeked at her as he teased. Money was never an issue and he felt silly saying it but being modest was something he was getting used to in light of the new underprivileged students. However, he was curious as to what 'shenanigans' she had in mind so he prompted with a soft "Oh?" his accent making it sound a but more like a purr than a word.

Maria let her hair cascade down her back again as she listened to Antonio, frowning slightly in thought. She scooted forward to dip her toes in the water, just close enough to do so, and sighed. “I suppose. Don’t feel like it right now.” Her eyes flicked to the Spaniard’s, and she smirked.
“Better watch out or I’m going to push you in,” she teased, cackling. If she really wanted to she could, but for the moment the Prussian girl was far too lazy to move.
She raised an eyebrow at Antonio’s remark and scowled slightly, curling a hand up to punch him in the shoulder – as hard as she could, which wasn’t very powerful still. “Oh, shut it,” she growled. “I don’t like her anyway.” Maria pouted childishly, turning her head to steal a glance at that boy again. Of course, she wasn’t sure how she really felt about the Belgian girl – it was a normal statement.
The Prussian girl sighed slightly, leaning down to drape her arms loosely around Antonio’s neck as she pressed her cheek against his. “Oh, Tony, how you wound me~” Giving him a chaste kiss on his skin, Maria lifted her head to stare across the water and hummed, a mischievous smile lighting up her face.
“Ja, ja. We go out in the town and cause some awesome chaos! Maybe we can drag mein twin along, kesesesese~” She laughed, her silver hair gleaming in the sun as she tossed her head proudly. “We can drink to that, I say! Let’s go!”
Standing up in one smooth motion, Maria pushed on Antonio’s shoulders in the direction of the pool and jumped in herself over his head, giggling as the cold water enveloped her body.

>> Watching her tease the water, Antonio wasn't sure exactly what Maria was planning. Accepting their usual banter for how that was just how they got along, he laughed at the thought of her pushing him in. Her strength didn't exactly make him tremble, outweighing her certainly, too. "You would be following me in next if you did that, my devious friend,
" the Spaniard warned teasingly, resting his head back slightly as the sun reflected off of the surface of the pool. Maybe proving his point about her strength, he swayed the slightest as she punched him square in the shoulder. " Ow," he said for effect, faking woundedness. The Carriedo heir didn't get why most people didn't seem to care for the younger farm girl - he thought her charming and sort of motherly. Not wanting to pursue the conversation with the Queen of the snarks (being her friend, he supposed he had the right to say it), he tried to ignore her pointedly with a little hum. Failing at keeping a straight face, he smiled slyly as she dabbed a kiss on his cheek. " I think you are the physical one here, I can't hurt a fly, look at me." Full of smiles and tanned Spanish bounce, he followed her with his emerald gaze as Maria hovered above him. He actually already had been making plans to go drinking with Gilbert, but they had already included a third into it, and he wasn't quite sure if he could handle drunk German number one and number two unless completely sloshed himself. Thinking too deeply, Antonio was caught completely off guard as the underclassmen vaulted over his head. In panic, he caught himself by sticking his legs out, shoes breaking the surface of the water seconds after she did. Groaning loudly between a laugh, he drew himself back up, legs and cargoes completely soaked. " Tu eres atrevido y mimado, oi, chica!" he huffed in Spanish, accepting the invitation she seemed to be bringing. Checking over his shoulder for none of the fincky gym staff, Antonio pulled his shirt over his head, kicking his soaked shoes in the process. He had to bend over to peel off his clingy socks, but stripping his pants off with ease, he was in the water after her in seconds. He had an extra change of boxers in the locker room anyways, he'd be fine. [/sup][/blockquote]
