Eduard had managed to get into the library and decided to start on a few projects he was interested in before the work he'd be assigned would be assigned side-tracked him. So he sat at one of the tables, having brought his custom laptop from home. Yet before he went to work he looked around at the place, he was certain he would end up spending the overwhelming majority of his time. He really appreciated the large selection of books, the place had. Aisles after aisles in surely all the genres he could imagine. One of these days he had to return to just wander, looking at the books. But for now, he returned his attention to the laptop which was now on and ready for what he intended to do. Now to decide whether to use an established program or one he had developed himself as a project over the summer. There were definitely pros and cons to both but he ultimately went with the old standby considering that he didn't want anything to go wrong. He dove into his work, writing lines and line of code for what would ultimately be a form a organizing saved results or something of that nature. Something he could use this school year.

--- Belle wouldn't admit her work tired her, getting an education while trying to cater to each and every student, some less friendly than others. The ones that got her the most were the snobs and she hated the looks she got sometimes when seated in class. There was a reason she stuck in uniform mostly with the small servant pin in the breast - even her best clothes she owned made her look like the farmer she was. Aside from that, meal times where the worst for her. No one seemed capable of taking their own trays let alone fetching their own napkins some days. Raising children was one thing, taking care of brats was another.
That was why Belle was content to be on duty in the afternoon, hours after the lunch hour rush and well seated into the day where dinner was on the horizon. The sunlight was streaming through the clean library windows, a trickle of warm and welcoming hues. Pushing her head band a little better onto her head, the Belgium girl made her rounds, walking carefully as not to disturb the studiers. Turning on her heel, the boy with the odd computer caught her attention. Most people used the school issued ones if not more uniform ones - certainly no one was ever that much into their work either for it not to be something purely for fun.
Tip toeing over and around, Belle paused at the blond boy's side, hovering for a moment. "Can I help you with anything while you work?" she asked politely like required but then continued, "What kind of class is this for if ya don't mind me asking." She placed her hands on her hips, not in authority but just as a place to leave them so she wasn't hanging off the table or off of him.

Eduard heard a voice and looked up a bit unexpected to have anyone nearby. He looked to see a young lady with some kind of pin on her. He also noticed her clothing, somewhat, for some reason it didn't strike him as too strange. "Oh, I didn't expect you to be here. I don't really need anything but thank you.Though I'm not certain why you would offer it to be honest.. as for what I'm working on, this isn't for class. I haven't gotten anything for that yet. This is just something I do for fun..," he explained.
He went back to his work shortly after, not really intending to ignore the girl but not certain what to say to her. Still he couldn't behave that way, he thought to himself and so he looked back up at the young lady, hoping to get a little more information about her seemingly sudden appearance in the library.

--- She wasn't sure what that meant - either he was actually self sufficient and didn't need any of her help or he was confused as to what kind of establishment the school was running. "I work as a servant here," Belle explained, smiling slightly as she talked, attempting to seem enthused with the idea. "I cater to whatever you students need in between my classes."
For fun? The squinted slightly, trying to make out anything on the screen. It wasn't a story, that's for sure, and even though she struggled with some big words when reading, this clearly wasn't forming words in the English language at all for she lacked any understanding of what he was seeing. What language used numbers?
"What does it do?" the blond cooed, continuing the conversation as he hadn't directly said he disliked her asking or her presence. Being a good socialite was also part of the job, anyways. Dropping into a squat on her toes, Belle came eye level with the screen, resting her elbows on the table edge. She wasn't going for being a proper lady today anyways. As she sat there a cloud drifted lazily above head, dappling the room and over her shoulders. "Do'n' worry, I don't understand a thing you are doing, I can't read any o' this if it's like top secret or something," the younger girl stated shyly, shaking her head the slightest. " Certainly not literate in anything like this."

Eduard was expressing both self-reliance and a bit of confusion as for what kind of establishment this was." Oh really? I honestly didn't know that, I'm just so used to doing things myself to be honest, "he replied a little sheepishly. He noticed that the girl was trying to figure out what he was doing. "Ah it's ok, I was just doing some programming which does involve a whole another language to use, though there'a variety of them that I could use. What I was doing was I am building a program that could potentially help me with my schoolwork. It would ultimately, it it works well, be something to help organize things that I search for," he explained as clearly as he could. He knew that it was kind of difficult to understand these kind of things without a little background. But still he was kind of glad to tell someone what he was up to, though he was pretty certain that the girl wouldn't be too interested.

--- The blonde smiled at his confusion, bright and amused. There was a difference between the people she had informed herself and the people who had been told before hand to boss her around, usually most were kind enough to not be awkward and try to command her to do things after being directly told. "It's alright, if you ever need anything we can help you though, sort of like live-in maids, at least that's what I like to think," Belle assured, tilting her head the slightest as he moved on to explain his computer and the program he was writing.
Personally, she found school work hard but for someone who was here on brains, she didn't know what the challenge it would be. Tapping her emerald nails on the edge of the polished wood she asked innocently, "Don't they have that Google for you?"
She felt incredibly sheepish - it wasn't a lie to say they didn't have internet back at home, mostly because it would be unfair to attempt to share it around between her large, farmer family. They had tried to share a pet rabbit once and that didn't work out, so an upgrade was a tad questionable. "Or a little diary planner?" She was sure the agendas were handed out as a part of enrollment for use.

"Hmm, that's good to know," Eduard replied though to be honest, he doubted that he'd be making too much use of these servants who were available here. He thought that it'd be a little inappropriate to take advantage of the situation. He found that there would be quite a bit to adjust to here and suspected that the servant thing was just the tip of the iceberg. " Well, yes but that's not exactly what I'm planning on using it for. I plan on using it organize assignments and search terms and projects in a private place where I can pull up anything that I've done recently. As for the diary planner, I'm sure that'll be useful somewhat in taking down things that i need search for." He tried his best to explain what planned on using it for though he then added, " Frankly, I may have another use in mind that could be an additional feature, providing that the main part works out decently."

--- Still resting her chin on the edge of the table, she hummed softly at his responses. Belle appreciated being treated as a normal student rather than a working slave. She wasn't sure why you needed a computer to do that for you, honestly, keep all your papers in a folder. That's how she operated at least and had a thick book bag to prove it. It actually was because she suddenly felt sentimental over homework - she'd never had the formal schooling before to acquire any.
"Sounds fancy," she decided on, clicking her tongue in her cheek. Vaguely, the blond wondered if the male could do anything on his own, seeming so attached to the laptop before him. Watching him work for a moment, she was quickly realizing the ideas he was naming didn't really seem very interesting to her. "Do you only write your coded computer lingo?"
Her ankles were getting sore from the constant squatting so she rolled a bit on her toes. "Actually, like, normal people can write out computer things? I thought all those big o' companies owned and like, copyrighted all of that stuff," she tried not to pout in confusion but it was honestly beyond her.

Eduard wasn't sure what she would have thought of what he was getting at. Thus he was thinking that he should keep it brief as there was no use trying to go into the theory behind everything. This had him just sitting for a moment considering whether his reasons for having so much to do with his laptop were even worth the time he spent. Nonetheless, this was were the future was heading and he had to keep track if not spearhead the efforts. "I suppose it could be considered fancy but it would help and prevent me from having to carry a bunch of papers around, which however organized I could make that, something would always be lost. As for writing anything else, um well I sometimes write some stories in a notebook I keep privately, mostly science fiction. And normal people can make their own programs that's actually how a lot of those big companies you speak of got started in the first place. They only copyright certain specific things like Google, but it doesn't prevent other people from making similar projects," he tried to explain.

--- She felt stupid, mainly because her seemingly basic questions seemed to be tripping the unknown boy up. Belle couldn't tell if he was thinking of ways to dumb it down for her or just confused why she was still around bothering him. Though it really wasn't her fault, she always thought the internet was something solid but then again, for all the random crap she knew that originated it there, it couldn't all be business run. Maybe she should actually take some computer classes sometime soon as like Momma said, can't be dumb forever.
"Well, at least ya can read your papers," she joked, obliviously not done with making herself look like an uneducated fool. Good going, Belle. Her blond hair bobbed a bit as she stood, still hovering at his side as she dusted off her uniform, adjusting her shiny maid pin. "Sorry, this stuff means notin' to me, I didn't grow up in a very technology family."
The Belgian girl got a bit from it though, thinking it out. He didn't look like a very good story writer, not when she was associating him with computer talk. "That's kind of neat though. Thanks for the knowledge. I'm Belle Goossens, by the way," she introduced herself in her twangy accent and broken english, extending her thin hand.

Eduard still tried to remain patient with the young lady as there was no reason to that she would listen to him go on about things that clearly didn't mean too much to here. He grinned a little at her joke.." Oh it's ok. I completely understand that.," he replied quietly though he had indeed grew up in a technological educated family, very much so. Still he took Belle's hand and returned, " Thanks, I'm Eduard Von Bock, nice to meet you." He gave a decent handshake. He ended up closing out of the program he was working on as there was no interest for Belle in that and whatever he was trying to accomplish he could surely finish that at another time.

--- Belle smiled softly for his sake. She doubted he really did understand what it was like and from the tone of his response, he was only being nice. The blonde didn't want pity, she was just stating things in order to feel a little less dumb about not knowing what Eduard was really saying. She shook his hand, pleasantly surprised that he didn't whimp out or do that little 'oh, okay' sort of shake. He seemed like a good man.
Hesitating for a second, she took in a breath as he closed down what ever he was working on - she knew what a desktop of a computer look liked. A lazy cloud drifted past in the shadow she asked, "Hey, do ya think you could help me with something techy then? I don't know if Tonio will have time this week. It's for a class."
Maybe hoping to look a little innocent, she pressed down the front of her skirt. It was sort of out of her place to be asking as a servant to Royalty no less - she could tell he was royalty, it was easy after a while, but after intruding, maybe he could really help her.

"Oh for a class? I don't mind helping you at all, " Eduard replied. "What exactly are you trying to do?" He wanted to get as much information about what needed to be accomplished so he could try to show Belle simply what could be done and how it would be done simply. He didn't know who that Tonio person was who Belle would try to get assistance from otherwise but he thinks it would be well if she got her assistance from himself. He meant that he'd end probably helping quite a few people if he did well. And besides it was good practice for what he planned on doing when he was older. He didn't really get the problem with people asking assistance when they needed from whoever regardless of apparent "status," but then again, Eduard was still a little oblivious to actual implications of his standing.

--- "Thank you, hold on," she mumbled, leaving the table for a moment and disappearing through the staff doors. She had intended to be here a while helping that she brought her bag down, putting it behind the student barrier. Returning with it, Belle set it on the table and sifted through the sheets. Most had stars on them, large or crossed out - it was how she kept track if homework or not instead of trying to read the instructions every time. Dragging a chair over his side of the table with a hand, the blond set the golden sheet down on the table.
Tracing her finger across the bold url at the top of the page, she smiled a little sadly. "We're supposed to go and look at this online and answer the questions, but aha, I have issues doin' both things." Her voice was soft as if a lost child, Antonio really did help her most of the time, the Spaniard not really judging as long as she was willing to learn. "Between helping everyone 'ere I don't get much time to try and teach myself some more so I can't always r-read through all of it and do what I need."
Swinging her legs slightly, she leaned over the paper as she sat on her hands. All it was was an online research hunt, she knew that but... "Do you think ya could still help me? Or like, read 'em off to me, I understand the words, jus' not what they look like all the time."

Eduard took a good look at the assignment and offered this, " Hmm being busy can hamper time to get things done I would think. I can help you. I'll definitely help you read these questions as for looking for the answers, you could very easily use for Google to find all of the answers you need. Using it wouldn't be a problem since it wouldn't be a total research project." Eduard pulled up the Internet on his laptop and was ready to read off the questions for Belle.
