Marin Sigrunardóttir
name: Marin Sigrunardóttir
origination: Faroe Islands
age: 16
grade: Sophomore
social class: Middle-Lower Class---Potential Royalty
positive traits:
- Suave and thoughtful - She's sweet and creative when it comes to thinking about other people. For example, perhaps you've lost your favorite pencil. She would try to buy a whole case of you favorite brand in a pencil bag so that you would not lose it again.
- Kind and generous - There isn't a moment when she would ever malign or do harm to anyone. She always wants to reach out to a person with genuine kindess and be friends.
- Optimistic and resilient - Marin was taught to always be smiling and cheery; even during bad times, she would be able to pick herself up without causing too much fuss. Because of her cognitive phases like reverie, she may hold insightful philosophies to stay mentally strong. Consequently, she is very mature for her age.
- Adventurous/Imaginative and excitable - There is a childish and coy sort of curiosity that radiates from her. She's always constantly dreaming, looking around, and asking. She's always seeking for answers and all of the answers she had compiled makes her quite knowledgable! Ergo, if there is something she is passionate about, she'd go completely ecstatic!
- Talented - She's a homespun girl from the farm and is capable of doing domestic jobs very well, such as cooking, sewing, knitting, and other little jobs. Although she's clumsy and sometimes does not do things right the first time, her diligence always gets the job done. She's also quite proud of her singing and harpooning - yes, she can pin a fish by throwing a spear in the stream.
- Loving - Marin tries to act like the 'handsoff' older sister. She wouldn't baby or dote over anyone, but be more like the silent sister who is always there, quietly and gently smiling. Friends and family are very precious to her.
negative traits:
- Push-over - Even when s person requests for something from her out of badwill, Marin would have to hesitantly comply. She's too nice to reject and say no to a person unless they are blatant and get physical.
- Naive - She's a dreamer and she likes it that way. Her ideas and actions may be earnest but may not always be accepted by society.
- Unnoticeable - Perhaps she's just the girl in school who everyone doesn't particularly looks over at first. She can walk through a crowd without anyone recognizing her.
- Low self-esteem - Marin thinks highly of herself enough only to the point she doesn't frown in the mirror. She doesn't mind her appearance but gets a little sensitive when compared. She's a little weak hearted if she were to be put up in a challenge against anyone and would rather back out.
- Fretful - Because she always cogitates, she is very keen and aware of misadventures and unhappy events that might occur. Therefore, whenever there is a dire situation at hand, she would spazz out until calming down. In addition, a situation is ambiguous (i.e. someone is lost) she would overwork herself so much due to stress.
- Temper point - Everyone, even the most stable person, has a breaking point. She may seem like a nice girl with a charming countenance but this girl's resiliency can only hold on for so long. If she ever becomes cross, it would have to be over a good reason, yet she would be grave to the point no one might not recognize her.

history:
Marin was born in a homestead by the sea in Faroe Islands. She lived most of her life in the rural pasture where she tended sheep, carried bales of hay back and fourth, went fishing, and other back-breaking chores. She's a girl of an itty bitty height but she was undoubtedly strong or plainly strong-willed. Her family wasn't poor, but they lived in much modesty and were very religious, therefore most of their money were sent as donations to a local church. For a long time, she never wanted to leave her simple but beautiful life.
However, things changed after a potential foreclosure threatened the ancient acres of land her family owns. Things fell in a hitched breath until her mother revealed that Marin may have royal blood in her veins. The legal papers were copied and given to the officials and things became ambiguous for a long time as they tracked the family tree.
The intenisty of the situation grew even more when a group of people from the academy recognized her status as 'a descendent of nobility'. They were able to alleviate the burden and the threat of having her family evicted from her land only if she attends Victorious. Weeping, unhappy, and discontent, she complied and left her family to attend this prestigious academy. Marin was very timid, discouraged, and very afraid about going to a new and spectacular school where she knew of almost no one. On the other hand, she adapted because she became a bit excited that so many opportunities bloomed fourth.
sample post:
The campus was marvellous yet daunting, like a beautiful damsel with a condescending sapphire gaze. Marin walked around in her conservative and unflattering dress like a black sheep, turning her head left and right as if fearful something might pounce on her.
Her seablue eyes stared with wonder and amazement after her curiosity drove her at the library's doorstep. The girl's mouth opened slightly agape as her cheeks were powdered with a delicate pink color. Her heart seemed to waltz as her light footsteps danced across the lacquered floor. Her cascading long strawberry blond hair flowed as she rushed in. The starstruck girl was gliding across the room whimsically.
The towering bookshelves - endless and endless of books! Marin excitedly swooped to one section of the library and pulled out a velvet book. The girl beamed at it after recognizing its author. "This is... so... amazing!" She chimed before melodious mirth softly shook her body.
Marin then paused after noticing eyes and cold daggers aimed at her back. Wearily, she looked around her to see silent students and pundits glaring at her from their seats. Like the sheep from before, she slowly sidled away from their view as her heartbeats pumped like drums. So exciting!
