Plot babies are beautiful <3
Now, let's start get familiar with the history so that we're on the same track and then we'll string some AU stories from there, oui?
Faroe Islands was discovered by the Norwegians around a hundred years or so earlier than Iceland. They were under the Kalmar Union and were also close with Norway. They were also handed to Denmark. The Faroese were inspired by the Icelanders' pursuit of Independence but ultimately chose to stay with Denmark.
The Faroese and Icelanders consider themselves brothers and sisters and they are island neighbors~ Immediately after Iceland's economic crash, Faroe Islands graciously let Iceland 'borrow' a large sum of money to help them pick themselves up. Survey says that the Faroese felt 'Obligated to help blood' and are willing to wait as long as it takes for their money to return.
That's the name of that tune! Cute isn't it? ; u ; Now, since Jokull and Marin are almost opposites, they'd be lovely foils to each other. I am thinkin' calmbigsis--rowdylittlebro? What do you think?

Ahh that's so thoughtful of them to do that.
Haha I wouldn't call Jökull rowdy exactly. He tends to be closed off and quiet with new people, but more open once he gets to know them better. I can't imagine him being noisy or disorderly in anyway. He can act like a spoilt prince though o3o
Did you want them to have known each other in the past or have just met at the school?

Ah yes rowdy is the wrong word. I meant something along the line of an irritable boy. The spoiledprince-complex sounds awesome and feel free to totally bash on Marin's self-esteem, since she's just a commoner.
Umm. Hm might be a bit difficult. Marin has always lived in Faroes and would only traveled to Iceland to fish or something. Perhaps they met for a fleeting moment? That way they'd be more interested in each other at school.

Irritable sounds like him, yeah xD Oh he won't bash on her, he'll just comment on her status in a mildly insulting matter without meaning it to be that way <3
They could have, but Jökull's family can afford to have gone to the Faroes on vacation or for business at some point too. Not that they have to have met in the past of course, I'm just throwing things out there.

Wonderful~ Of course I am much too mean to my Faroe muse.
Or maybe some sort of Vacation house in Faroe Islands? And the cottage of whatever sort happened to be near Marin's residence? Because then she'd probably accidentally trespass to say hii.
And I'm wondering if you have MSN or AIM or anything?

Vacation house sounds like a good idea. Sweet, so they at least knew each other a little bit before coming to Victorious.
Ahh I'm sorry, but I don't like to give my MSN out to anyone so soon. A precautionary thing. Don't take it personally ><;

Yeah! It'd probably go along the lines of:
"Oh a new house! *walks over there with cookies* Hallo ; u ; *gets invited in---sees Jokull and says hi and then feels intimidated before leaving*" Or something broad like that. It'd probably give Jokull the impression that she's weird.
Oh nono it's alright~ To be honest, I did get a weird weird person who IMed me earlier so I completely understand;;
Should we start some sort of thread or would you like to add anything?

I don't think there's anything else to add really. What should the thread be about? A random run-in somewhere and they go "heeey I think I know you from somewhere"?

Sounds about right! Do you mind creating the thread? I don't mind the setting. My brain doesn't want to work with me right now.
